Every now and then I'll ask Chris to take a spin in the kitchen, knowing that he's probably going to just boil noodles and heat up some sauce - which, don't get me wrong, is still great.   However, this specific time he got all kinds of fancy, sauteing onions, garlic, fresh red chilies and bell peppers.  Once those were done he threw in some cherry tomatos, a bit of pesto and a handful of an arugula-spinach mix.  Yum!  Once it was reduced down, he tossed that in with his vodka sauce and poured over the whole wheat noodles.  Why have I been the one cooking all this time?
